Beautiful wears like a true Eau de Parfum for most of our testers. We experienced a noticeable floral aura for much of the day, with the warm sandalwood–amber base lingering even longer on clothing. Layering with the matching lotion, soap, or powder further extends its presence.

Beautiful is decidedly on the stronger side, especially in the first few hours. One spray can be plenty for daytime. It softens into a closer, more intimate scent over time, but the initial projection is bold enough that overspraying can easily feel overpowering.

It can do both, depending on how you apply it. A single, well-placed spray is refined enough for the office or errands, while layering the set and adding an extra spritz transforms it into a glamorous choice for weddings, dinners, and evening events.

Longevity depends heavily on skin chemistry, hydration, and environment. Well-moisturized skin in moderate temperatures tends to hold the fragrance beautifully. Very dry skin, cold weather, or certain medications and pH levels can make it seem lighter or shorter-lived.

With Beautiful, less truly is more. We recommend starting with a single spray on one pulse point and living with it for a day. If you want more impact for evening, add a second light spray or rely on layering with the lotion and powder rather than simply dousing yourself.

You can lightly mist clothing, but always test on an inconspicuous area first, as fragrance can stain delicate fabrics. For hair, avoid direct spraying—either mist the air and walk through or spritz a brush and run it gently through lengths to minimize alcohol dryness.

For maximum impact, we like to use the perfumed soap in the shower, apply the body lotion to damp skin, dust a little body powder over key areas, then finish with one spray of Eau de Parfum. This ritual creates a seamless, long-lasting veil rather than competing layers.

Most days, we didn’t find reapplication necessary. If you’re moving from daytime into a special evening event, a light top-up after several hours—ideally on clothing or hair rather than adding multiple sprays to the same skin spot—refreshes the scent without becoming cloying.

Beautiful is generally well-tolerated, but it is a traditional alcohol-based perfume with known fragrance allergens. If you have sensitive or reactive skin, patch test on a small area first and consider spraying on clothing rather than directly on skin for everyday wear.

Topical fragrance is typically considered safe, but pregnancy can heighten scent sensitivity and change your tolerance. If you’re expecting, consult your healthcare provider and consider using smaller amounts or applying to clothing rather than skin if strong scents bother you.

We’ve encountered occasional bottles with stiff caps, detached internal tubes, or malfunctioning nozzles. If the sprayer fails early on, your best option is to contact the retailer’s customer service promptly, as there’s no practical way to fix a broken atomizer at home without risking contamination.

Beautiful is built in a classic, 1980s-style floral structure—dense white florals, powder, and warm woods. To noses raised on clean musks and fruity gourmands, that can read as “old-fashioned.” Fans, however, experience it as elegant, nostalgic, and sophisticated rather than dated.

Because the scent is distinctive and polarizing, we strongly recommend testing it in person first—on your own skin, not just on a blotter. Wear it through a full day to see how you feel about the evolution from bold floral opening to powdery, woody dry down before committing to a large format.
